When it comes to quilting and sewing, Susan Beal is one of my most inspiring friends, and her wonderful Modern Log Cabin Quilting book definitely has a permanent spot on my bookshelf. So, when she told me that she was doing a 4-week Log Cabin Quilting class on Creativebug, I knew the projects would be fantastic, and I couldn’t wait to check it out!
The first project went live this week, so now’s the perfect time to join if you’d like to take part in live video chats for the upcoming weeks. (You don’t need to join the live chats to take the classes—the project videos will be available whenever you’re ready to get started.)

I absolutely adore the Block-making Basics and Sewing a Pillow – the colors are gorgeous!
My favorite is the improvised wonky blocks and sewing a tote bag tutorial. <3
The tote bag since I’m a sucker for anything garment or purse :)
My favorite is the baby quilt!
I love the cushion in the first lesson – I would love to learn how to make some of those to have around the house
My favorite is the tote bag. Thanks for the giveaway!
That baby blanket is so sweet!
love all log cabin block’s. I like the table runner set .Thank’s for the giveaway
I was drawn to the pillow, but I really like the idea of wonky blocks too!
I would LOVE this! Maybe it will help me learn how to finish my quilt tops.
I’ve been saving up my kids’ jeans from since they were little, to make into a quilt to send with them to college but quilting has always been on my “maybe later” list. Seems I’m always running full-tilt and never find the time. So the baby quilt would be a good start for me!
Hard to pick a favorite, but I think I like the tote bag best.
I would love to learn how to make the baby quilt. I am self-taught, and there are definitely some gaps in my knowledge!
