MAKE on an iPad (sorta)

Pt 2768
In the Apple guide tour videos, you can see that the person using the iPad has MAKE magazine bookmarked! I haven’t seen an iPad in person, but tablets are interesting to think about when it comes to portable computing. I’m really looking forward to hacking an iPad. When the iPhone came out, jailbreaking and doing all the things we weren’t supposed to was the most fun I’ve had with a phone in recent memory. On that note, I will be laser etching two iPads for a contest this weekend and voiding their warranties — publishing the laser settings, the usual — I’m also a judge for the contest so if you’d like to enter, you know what I like :)
