Instructables user bbstudio creates intricately carved eggshells that are breathtaking and baffling. This particular egg, titled Goose on Geometry, is an entry in the Instructables Egg-Bot challenge. One of bbstudio’s similar pieces was posted with a brief description of how the look was achieved.
