Build an MP3 player to challenge Apple

This homebrew MP3 player won’t make your iPod obsolete, but it’s still a cool hack using mpeg decoder ICs and an ATmega128 chip that reads data from an old 2.5″ laptop hard drive. There’s even source code at the link below.
