NetWorking is an ongoing knitting installation and performance art piece originally created by Nyok-Mei Wong & Anni Holm in 2006. The event comes again to Chicago at the James R. Thompson Center Atrium (100 W. Randolph at the Clark/Lake Stop) on January 14-16 from 11am – 2pm.
From the site:
The NetWorking project is an attempt to physically demonstrate how a network is constructed and constantly changing. The viewers are invited to sit down and knit with the artist, and through dialogue develop their own networks beyond the boundaries of the piece.
Event details are in the press release PDF. You can also find out more on what’s happening at the NetWorking blog. Link.
