I like running my fingers over embossed paper. But I always thought you needed to have one of those fancy metal clamp/stamp things to do it with any sort of success. Apparently I was wrong! Greg Mathews has a post up about his experimentation with embossing, using only an empty mechanical pencil, a piece of paper, and a bit of cardboard. I’m impressed at how well it turned out.

Greg Mathews’s instructions were an easy, encouraging lesson on simple, low tech embossing. Just what I need to create elegant, simple cards.
