How-To: Miniature Paper “Pottery” Pieces

Anne Martin of All Things Paper points us to the amazing miniatures work of Kris Compas from 1 Inch Minis. Kris creates all kinds of tiny, delicate doll house details and often works in paper. Her intricate paper basket tutorial is fascinating, and she even used quilling paper to create a decorative shelf in one room of her doll house. I’m most intrigued by her use of quilling paper to create miniature pottery pieces. It’s hard to look at the final product and imagine that it was made from tiny strips of paper. See how she does it, and take some time to look through her other work (especially her quilt cottage that includes a great tiny sewing room!).
