DIY Photo Night Light

As the dark days of the winter solstice approach, it’s a great to to get started on this brilliant DIY photo night light project from Hewlett-Packard.

This project looks like a super easy way to add a customized and crafty touch to your darkened domicile. Nearly any lightweight fabric could potentially be used in this project, but HP recommends ironing a piece of freezer paper to the back of some muslin fabric so that you can run the fabric through a standard desktop printer to print a photographic image onto it. The fabric is then simply stretched over an embroidery hoop and mounted on a night light, and voilà, illuminated images!
