English maker and DIY costumer extraordinaire Klaire de Lys has created a beautiful version of Thranduil’s crown featured in the Hobbit. In spite of its intricate looks, the crown is relatively simple to make.

In this video, Klaire shows how make a crown with wire, hot glue, tree foliage, and spray paint. If you’d rather own the woodland realm crown Klaire made,  you can enter to win it. Simply subscribe to our Youtube channel and leave a comment in the video and you’re in the running. Of course, no one will stop you if you want to make the crown and enter the raffle. We’ll be picking a winner April 4.
