The future lamp for graffiti artists for sure, purchasable for $50 or a likely better as a (re)make –
This lamp is one of a kind – made from a vintage Krylon can in Portland, Oregon. The off/on switch is the spray nozzle. The arm clips onto any desk surface and swivels for your ultimate viewing experience. Light bulb included.

Would I get sued if I made these and sold them on eBay?
@Tim-
Not unless you post your intention to do so on a widely read blog that the artist is likely to read.
D’Oh!
Looks like a very nice build, DO WANT.
WOW, is it just me? Everytime I post a project that could be dangerous to idiots, I get slammed for my idea. Nobody slamming you for the dangers of cutting into an aresol can, but if you don’t see that coming you shouldn’t own tools. 8^)
This lamp IS a neat artistic expresson. I’ll bet the Krylon people would love to have them at the home office.
Damn. I LOVE the comments….
@Craig (Yeah…I was just looking at your ‘power strip’)
“WOW, is it just me? Everytime I post a project that could be dangerous to idiots..” and so on….
What are you responding to? 50% of the posts to date (3FEB08 0332 EST) love your idea outright. One wants to steal it and make money,but is uneasy. One wants to buy one NOW! And I told the one who wants to ‘steal’ it that he/she BUSTED themselves,so maybe don’t try.
We are your friends, and want to learn with and from you.
Deep breath. Repeat as needed.Ohm……..:)
BTW…on the reread…I dont see Craig’s signature anywhere on the link….But THEY did say I would go blind….
What does 8^ mean?!? (if not typo….)
These lamps are the brain-child and soul of my best friend…. We got a good laugh upon reading the dim fellow’s comment on ripping them off… It’s all about hip hop. These are just one of many ways him and ourselves as a crew show our love for hip hop. In these days of brainwashed botty shakers it’s nice to see some heads… respect due- 3D
LOLS @ a lamp being hip hop.
