Stitch Spectacular – Call for Entries

Stitch Spectacular is seeking a call for entries for their month-long show, January 9- February 5, 2009, at Dimensions Gallery in Savannah, GA. Founded by fibers MFA students Rubi McGrory and Karin Soderholm, Stitch Spectacular seeks to unite the talented hand embroiderers in Savannah with stitchers from the rest of the US and the world in a month long show at Dimensions Gallery. This show, juried by Grace Bonney, of Design*Sponge; Kate Bingaman-Burt of Obsessive Consumption & Portland State University; and Brian Judson of the Jepson Center for the Arts, is open to everyone, from Savannah and beyond.
Work will be juried by Grace Bonney (Design Sponge) and Kate Bingaman-Burt (Obsessive Consumption and Professor Portland State University). Surface Design Association will award the “Best in Show.”
