The only way to get these bags is by stealing them. This article is about destroying a stolen item. So does makezine now encourage theft and destruction of other people’s property?
You can buy the blue bags for about 50 cents. It’s the yellow ones that you can’t buy.
wah, wah. time to buy some underwear that fits a little more loosely, Oracle1729. Just because you can’t fathom alternatives to theft and deceit doesn’t mean the rest of the world lives in your dirty little bubble.
i can think of several ways to get one of those bags legitimately. First and foremost, you could simply ask next time you go to Ikea. If they didn’t want to give it away for free, there’s always the possibility of paying for it. I bet Ikea’s costs are around $1/bag and they churn through them quickly.
And know what?
These same instructions could be used for NON-IKEA bags. Something from the Goodwill or some huge 80’s hand-me-down from Gramma. Maybe you could take that wet blanket and get crafty with it using these instructions..
Oracle1729 – these blue bags are for sale at ikea for 99 cents. i thought they were $1.50 but i called to confirm, they are 99 cents. the person also said they don’t care if people take -any- bags, unless someone gets greedy. in a past marketing campaign, they also gave out these bags…
