It appears to me that his apparatus approximates the egg as a sphere. Reminds me of the old “You might be an engineer if… you’ve ever approximated a horse as a sphere”
Yes it is. Simple, clever, awesome. I would love to see a video of this in action.
Either servo or nuts&volts did an article on this sort of bot, looks like the same design. Really nicely done, makes me yearn for when I have my machine shop set up…
