It appears that most of the “The Secret life of Machines” are now on Google video, they’re outstanding and worth a view/download…
“The Secret Life Of Machines is a TV series made for Channel 4 and subsequently shown on the Discovery Channel. The series was written by Tim Hunkin, and presented by Tim Hunkin and Rex Garrod. Eighteen programmes were made. The series developed from a cartoon strip, called ‘The Rudiments Of Wisdom’ which Tim researched and drew for the Observer newspaper for 14 years.” [via] – videos & more.

Note also the torrents, which Tim wants you to download!
Thanks again Dan! I grabbed these the first time I saw them on your blog. I love this series; I remember watching it when I was just a wee lad (on the Discovery channel I believe). I had a teacher that used some old VHS copies (recorded off of cable TV I think) as a part of his “History of Technology” class.
If you’re a regular of makezine, then I’m guessing that “The Secret Life of Machines” will fit your genre of things-that-are-watched.
Excellent! I used to love these shows as a child! Can’t wait to see them again!
Ah, the torrents are down :( Anyone have luck else where?
