Travel Kitty (TKP) is an interactive project from Lisa M. Dalton. People buy a Travel Kitty and then send notes and photographs of the kitty as they travel. The project is for people to document their travel stories and helps Lisa teach her son geography. Link.

I love this! I’ve also seen this at Postcrossing! International users pass around journals with little notes and stuffed toys.. really great idea!
Hey Craft!
Thanks for featuring my project on your site! I’ve had an amazing response since starting the project and look forward to sharing more pictures and travel stories as they come in.
I think this is very, very cute. I think she’s sold out right now, but she told me she is making more every day. She sells them as fast as she can. Email her like I did. She seems sweet!
I just joined the TKP and am awaiting the arrival of my Kitty, Old Man Slowik. It’s a long way from NY, and I hope he doesn’t suffer from motion sickness. I have an empty chair all set up waiting for him . . . Now I have to get him an appropriately sized blanket (a chair and a blanket, that’s all an old man needs, right?). He’s joining quite a few snowbirds from New York here in The Sunshine State to settle down and then travel away his retirement!
