I have a short piece on Street Tech about my discovery of an awesome cleaning solution for the grime-loving black Apple MacBook: the free hotel shoe shammy mitt!
I’ve found that the free shoe mitts are great for buffing lots of things that ought to shine. I first discovered them by using one to polish the fingerprints off of my guitar.
I’m not sure if they’ve got any rouge or polishing compound in them, (probably not) and they aren’t entirely lint free, but hey – you can’t beat the price.

I’m pretty sure, tho not positive, that they don’t have any polishing compounds in them. But as you say, they’re not entirely lint-free.
