I expect a real V8 would have CYLINDERS around the pistons. I’m guessing that the electric motor at the base drives the whole thing. The pistons go up and down while propane flames come out the ‘exhaust pipes’. It’s not clear what drives the actual blenders.
Interesting art piece but not a V8 blender. :-
John is right. I’ve seen this bad boy in action (at the last Robot Fighting League Championships in San Francisco). The pistons and blenders are driven by electric motors, and the propane is used to make the exhaust vents spit fire.
Still, pretty bitchin’, and the crew does make a tasty smoothie!
HMMM me and my buddy Mupeg have a blender 7 feet tall powered by a volkswagon engine and it makes great daquiris 7 gallons at a times and shoots fire from the tail pipe 8 feet in the air
