Tanis Alexis Laird made this incredible wet-felted blanket. From the item description on Etsy:
Each panel of this nuno felt blanket has been meticulously made by hand using the wet felting process. Sweet supersoft merino wool lamimated to delicate silk gauze (and sometimes some soy, bamboo or wild silk filaments). Each panel measures roughly 9″ x 10″ and is double machine stitched with rough, ruffly edges. On each short end I’ve triple stitched a vintage cotton trim in bright teal and green. I think it’s a perfect match. This is luxury in a blanket and I’m mighty fond of it. It is lightweight and drapable, yet at the same time, cozy and warm. wool is a fabulous insulator, and silk helps to moderate heat, so you’re sure to have the perfect temperature every time you snuggle with this treat.
