Wreaths for Every Occasion Roundup

Wreaths have been around since the ancient times, mainly used for decoration with symbolic meaning behind them. In modern times, we use them to celebrate major holidays, the most popular being Christmas. Lately, I have noticed the popularity of wreaths for every occasion– springtime, Halloween, birthdays, etc. Wreaths are great to have up year-round, and are a simple way to make a slight change of decor in your living space. They are also a fabulous DIY project. I hope this roundup inspires you to take a look in your crafting stash and turn some of those leftovers you’ve been hanging onto into something pretty and new!

The links below the photos will take you back to the original site where I found these beauties (most do include a tutorial).

Fabric and felt wreath— love the playfulness of texture and pattern, and color in this one.

Fabric and paper wreath— could use paper punches or your paper cutting machine for this one.

Fabric knots wreath— a great way to use up left over fabric.

Woodland themed wreath— artificial moss rocks and felted mushrooms are too cute.

Yarn and felt argyle wreath— stylish and very seasonal.

Halloween wreath— burlap and spooky accents.

Paper dahlia wreath— love the ombre blue tones in this one.

Cheerful paper valentines wreath– super use for brightly patterned scrapbook paper.

Clothes peg wreath— awesome way to display photos without a frame.

School supply wreath— a great gift for the teacher.

Large monogram wreath— break outside of the circle, wreaths can be other shapes too!

Elegant ornate frame wreath– this would look great on display year round.

Nature wreath— take a walk to the park to collect some twigs and pine cones. Looks great and the price is right too!

Christmas ball wreath— this one is so simple to make even the kids can help, but be sure to use plastic ornaments!

Love the variety you’ve shown! Thanks so much for featuring my Moss Rock Wreath from CraftsnCoffee.com. I have a variation that’s perfect for fall, too, with the addition of little pumpkins: http://craftsncoffee.com/2012/08/22/moss-rock-pumpkin-fall-wreath-is-like-a-walk-in-the-woods/. Thanks again, Agnes.
