We’ve covered some fantastic knitting and crochet projects this year. Do you remember the article about truckers knitting and quilting? This amazing knit skeleton? Or these adorable crochet teddy bear headphone covers? That’s just the beginning; here are some of my other favorite posts about knitting and crochet from 2010:
This knit bow totally stole our hearts!
Who wouldn’t want to sink their feet into this luxurious crochet or knit grass rug?
A perennial favorite, this clever reversible cable-knit scarf rocks no matter which way you look at it!
We’ve all had a moment wishing our current project would just finish itself; this knitting clock does just that! It knits a round every 24 hours, finishing a scarf in a year.
This crocheted reversible swiffer sock makes even something as practical as cleaning floors fun! (And looks fun to make, to boot.)
Don’t know how to knit? Watch our Knitting 101: Basic Stitches video and learn how!

Okay…I’ve been struggling with knitting, on and off, for all of 2010. Somehow I missed Vickie’s video. AWESOME.
For whatever reason, none of the other vids I watched were able to get the basic knit and purl stitches across to me, but Vickie’s was perfect.
Thanks for reposting!
I’m loving that cushy green rug! I am so glad you posted this roundup, Arwen!
Rug links to a log-in page. Why would you even post that? Craft-tease.
Sorry, looks like Lion Brand requires you to have an account to access their patterns–but they’re still free! You just have to sign up :)
