Embroidered Ears of Corn

I am smitten with these wee ears of corn that Shawnee of Life With Monkey stitched onto a wool beret. She revamped the beret with some bias tape to keep the edges from being itchy when worn, and then added these sweet, unexpected embroidered accents to finish the upcycle. I’m a sucker for a cluster of French knots, and I love that she’s also incorporated silk ribbon embroidery to create the corn husks.
