Artist and founder of Sublime Stitching, Jenny Hart, has given folks a sneak peek at the brand new stitch she designed for her upcoming book, Embroidered Effects. The Lazy Louts is a combination of some of my favorite stitches, the lazy daisy (isolated chain), french knots and the straight stitch. I was lucky enough to be one of a small group of folks who helped stitched the samples that were photographed for Jenny’s book last summer. I can’t fill you in on the projects I stitched just yet, but I can tell you that all the projects were fantastic. I was even luckier to have the Lazy Lotus in one of the projects I stitched! I was so excited to see the combination of some of my favorite stitches that created a whole new favorite stitch!
