After Rachel shared a beautiful homemade stocking, and then Becky posted the stockings that her mother made, I just had to get in on the action. This is the stocking that was made for me, and I haven’t dug it out of deep storage for years. I honestly can’t remember being called Brooke, but this cute stocking makes me smile when I think about all the love that was put into every stitch.

Love this. My favorite crafts are Christmassy. I am trying to quit smoking and need to keep my hands and mind busy. Am looking for crafts to help me with this. I work very long hours as I work in a drug rehab. Any suggestions?
I think the perfect craft to help keep you busy would be needlefelting! It’s inexpensive, first of all. Secondly, it’s the type of craft that benefits from intense focus, but that can be put down at a moments notice, without worry that it might come undone, like a knitting project. Also, the stabby nature of the movement causes many people to say, Wow, this is a great stress release! Here’s a link to a craft video I did showing how easy it is to get started! Good luck with all your crafty goals!
