One of the things I love most about living in Austin is getting to meet and collaborate with loads of creative people. Curlin Reed Sullivan is an Austin-based artist whose whimsical illustrations and mixed media work has had me enamored for years. I was thrilled to be able to work with her on creating these fun embroidery kits that feature her original artwork. She’s having a special “thank you” sale for all the glowing response the kits garnered on her blog, and is offering 15% off embroidery kits through December 17. You can read more about Curlin’s work and how these kits evolved (as well as read about the other folks involved in the process) over on my blog. Below are the two kits stitched and made in to pillows by Laurie Wisburn of Scarlet Fig.
