The daily newsletter announcing this was sent at 12:14 AM. . . after it had already closed.

A little frustrated by how quickly this closed …
Eirikur S. Hrafnssonsays:
Crud…already closed :/
Jay Idolsays:
Why would you advertise a contest entry that is already closed?
Thomas Harrellsays:
It’s on the top of page 1 today on Make Blog, but it says closed. First time I’ve heard of it.
Gareth Branwynsays:
Not sure what happened here. I’m looking into it.
In terms of only hearing about this now, we’ve been running this contest for at least a month and have promoted it across all of our social media channels, mentioned it on all of the Google hangouts, had it in the Make: Newsletter. If it passed by anyone’s notice, we apologize.
BobAtWorksays:
Perhaps it was mentioned elsewhere; I don’t recall seeing it on the blog until time was all but gone (looking at the time stamp). I tend to read every day.
Too bad – it’s the second time I’ve been on the outside looking in on this type of giveaway. Clearly the blog is the wrong thing to follow …
Jay Idolsays:
I wanted to win the printer so bad I didn’t see the (12/17). Hmmm is this like in school where the teacher would tell you to read the WHOLE question?
