We’re so excited about the release of our Ultimate Guide to 3D Printing special issue. The first publication of its kind, the Guide offers in-depth reviews, comparisons, and recommendations for 15 top printers on the market today. There are also how-tos on scanning, 3D design, getting objects printed even if you don’t have a printer, and lots more. Look for the Guide on newsstands Nov 20th or get it now at MakerShed.com.
And don’t forget to join us tonight for the first-ever International Maker Meetup. We’ll be getting together around the globe to talk about 3D printing, the maker movement, and meet some of the groups that are gathering. At 6pm PT/9pm ET we’ll do a Google Hangout On Air from the MAKE HQ meetup in Sebastopol, Calif. So far we have 123 meetups scheduled and over 750 people planning to attend. We hope to see you there. Even if you’re not part of a meetup, you can still join us for the G+ Hangout On Air.

I was wondering the same thing.
I am located in germany, and ordered it at Amazon right away.
They won’t be able to deliver it before Dec 14!
So much for the digital age.
The printing presses were very well used for many years. Now in Charlotte, and many other places, there are some interesting new developments.
