In Berlin? Check out the Weekend Maker Festival, August 10-11

Our friends at Betahaus have sent us info on a maker-related event they’re holding in early August:

Maker Weekend is a festival established by betahaus| Berlin to introduce people to the
latest design and tech inventions and empower cross disciplinary implementation of this
knowledge. During the festival designers, developers and tech experts educate
participants on how to make design and tech projects happen and how to do it in the most
efficient, creative and contemporary way.
We find it essential to enable people to produce, prototype and create with the latest
technology trends. Therefore workshops and lectures in 3D as well as coding sessions are
always part of the weekend. By doing so, we want to change peoples fear of something
completely unknown into a confident implementation of innovative solutions. To expand
this new direction we are planning to introduce Laser-Cutting, CNC-Milling and Arduino
workshops and courses to future Maker Weekends.

What will the next generation of Make: look like? We’re inviting you to shape the future by investing in Make:. By becoming an investor, you help decide what’s next. The future of Make: is in your hands. Learn More.
