I just love these beautiful jar lamps by Bay Area artist Marin Camille Hood, found over at Recyclart. It’s a great idea for what to do with extra glass around the house, and the light patterns made through crochet netting are delightful. Be sure to check out her bike chandeliers and subversive embroidery.

ooh — LOVE this. My husband refuses to recycle any glass jars and the cupboard above the fridge is getting a little dangerous. This is just the thing!
Is there some basic instructions? e-mail viebscrapn@yahoo.com
Thanks
Hi Majeral! This particular item is an art piece and not a DIY, though one could use this idea to make one’s own project. The finished jar lamps seen here are crafted by the artist, Marin Camille Hood. Thanks for your interest.
…isn’t this dangerous? Would I end up burning my house down? …
