The “Expected Curtain” or “Curtain for the lonely person” is meant to make your home more secure by implementing “Home Alone” trickery and adding human silhouettes in the windows of an empty apartment or house. The mysterious figures disappear during the day and only appear at night when the lights go on. This project might either improve or hinder your social life depending on how jealous your significant other is.

This reminds me of one of the steampunk inventions on the original TV show “Wild Wild West”. They affixed silhouettes to model train cars to make them move in front of a window.
I saw them do this on The Bloodhound Gang. This was a 5 minute detective spot on a show called 3-2-1-Contact.
This is straight out of the Steve Martin flick “The Lonely Guy”, except they used cardboard cutouts of people rented from the lonely guy store to create the illusion a party was going on.
Home Alone anyone?
yeh, I mentioned “Home Alone” in the original post..
It comes originally (I think) from a Sherlock Holmes adventure where Sherlock uses a bust and a lamp to cast a shadow on the window so the assassin will reveal his hand. — or wait a sec, maybe it was the Mission Impossible TV show.
I think this design is pretty weak and should perhaps be thought out a little better. Seems to me that it wouldn’t be very convincing with the “friends” being so static all of the time. Don’t think i’d be very jealous of this at all. In fact i would just make fun of the person who owns this.
I was currently deciding which curtain fabric color I should choose for my home decoration. I know, curtain is very important decoration in the bedroom.
