Dorkbot Austin: Call For Presenters

If you’re in, around, or looking for an excuse to visit the Austin area, here it is: people doing strange things with electricity with Tex-Mex.

Dorkbot Austin is now seeking makers to present at our monthly meetings. Past presenters have included:

• ArcAttack! and their Singing Tesla Coils
• The Robot Group’s Mechanical Flowers, Robo Spin Art, Screaming Babyhead Band, and more
• John P. Funk’s awesome miniatures and cozmic sounds
• Eric Wilhelm from Instructables: “How to Start Companies to Live Your Dreams – or trick yourself into thinking you’re living your dreams…”

No project too big or too small, so long as it’s interesting and involves you making something weird (we interpret “with electricity” loosely here).

We’re looking for 15-minute presentations as well as quicker “Open Dork” speakers. To present, email us details on your project. And, watch the Make calendar for our upccoming Dorkbots!
