Here at the Make and Craft offices, we are lucky to have food trucks that come to our parking lot every Thursday, for lunch. A couple weeks ago, I had a quinoa burger from one of the trucks that was amazing! So now I’m on the hunt for a yummy quinoa burger recipe. This one from Eating Well… Living Thin looks pretty good. Anyone have a favorite quinoa burger recipe to pass along?
If you haven’t had quinoa (pronounced “keen-wa”) before, give it a try! It’s very nutritious: high in protein and fiber.

It’s high in Magnesium, Protein and Fiber – all the things your body lacks during your period.
I usually make a lot of put the rest away in the fridge. It keeps well and can be cooked with anything. We even put it on Pizza as a topping! It’s also fantastic on Nachos!
!/2 mashed potatoes and 1/2 quinoa. So much better for you and delicious.
I had the most amazing quinoa and hummus burger back in Melbourne. One of the many things I miss about that city.
I love quinoa, it’s super good for you and so incredibly tasty but um… splenda? Way to turn an otherwise not too unhealthy recipe into something terrible for you. I recommend leaving that out or, if you need the added sweetness, use a small amount of chopped and soaked dates.
Splenda. Weird.

Re: Splenda: agreed.
I ended up making this recipe on Saturday, and I used a bit of blackstrap molasses instead of sugar/Splenda. I also added a pinch of garam masala. Yum. It was really good!
