
Every year amateur and professional chefs gather to Victoria, British Columbia to participate in Canada’s National Gingerbread Showcase. The competition is stiff, with participants planning months in advance, even going so far as to create foam core prototypes of their final sweet creations.
This year chef Aaron Lawrence of Canoe Brewpub made Han’s hunk of junk into a confectionary cruiser. It comes complete with a miniature version of Han chilling on a sleigh with a Santa hat on, and Chewbacca lounging next to his craft. This is the dessert you’re looking for…

Parsec is a distance…
This is a reference to the Kessel Run in Star Wars. Kessel Run is an 18 parsec route and Han Solo claims that he made it in “less than 12 parsecs”. Some people might think that Han means he did it in a shorter period of time, however he does actually mean that he reached the goal using a shorter route.
