Nice show, it’s just too bad with all that flame coming out the back it’s not producing any additional thrust. The flame is fuel that is unburned during combustion. Nice show, no go.

ya that’s my complaint too. I would love to have a turbine but without any serious horsepower, I’ll spend my time and energy on something else.

Not all jet engines/turbines are designed for thrust. An application similar to this (but running efficiantly could produce torque use for electric generation. Jet boats commonly use this technique to provide torque to the props without creating forward thrust from the jet. These jets are normaly taken from old military helicopters wich did the same thing, provide power to the prop without producing forward thrust.
