I built a large geodesic dome out of LEGO a year or so ago and I’ve finally posted some instructions on how it was built. The dome breaks down into smaller sub-assemblies for transport to your favorite LEGO Con and once it’s built it’s very strong and sturdy.

You took the words right out of my mouth… three times! I had to look over the picture to be sure it wasn’t supposed to be a dome from an American Airlines Space Freighter.
The drones would be pretty easy to build with LEGO, although not to scale with a little lego figure… maybe I should fire up LDRAW and make some.
