@The NYC Toy fair 2008 I was looking for some cool puzzles and Family Games America had some pretty nice ones – a few are “lock” puzzles where you need to figure out the puzzle and then you can get your bottle of wine, but others are nice laser cut puzzles that also gave me a few ideas for making some of my own.

Seems to be stuff you buy, not stuff you make.
    Is this a marketing excercise.

    Hi pt.
Yes I did read the entire post, and yes I appreciate that you found inspiration, but I did feel that the whole looked a bit like a glossy advertising brochure. My personal opinion only. No offense was meant.

If you can find a copy, a book called “The Puzzling World of Polyhedral Dissections” may be of use to you. Although out of print, I believe copies are obtainable from the web. A great read for anyone contemplating construction of wooden puzzles. Some of the 3D designs are deliciously intricate.

    All the Best.
