I’ve been collecting baby food jars with the intention of re-purposing them to hold mixtures of craft paint. However, I’ve found that once you get paint on the outside edges of the jar and seal the lid, it makes it very difficult to remove the lid after the paint has dried. So, following this discovery I scratched that idea, but I’ve still been holding onto the jars hoping to find a better use for them. Well, I think I may have found the perfect project.
This Lego figure head is so adorable. It would be great too see a whole collection grouped together with all sorts of facial expressions. What a great craft project for kids to make at a Lego themed party. The finished product makes a great little pencil cup, but it can hold almost anything you like. I would definitely put a little plant in one to give him a green hairdo, a throwback to the Earth Buddies of my childhood.
