Do you have the desire to buy a parcel of land, landscape it to your taste, and then build your dream home in just a few days? One resident of Linden Labs’ Second Life shares her experience in home owernship and building in this short video, “Bridge Making”. This is by no means an example of all the features and flexibility of the Second Life crafting system which includes the ability to write your own code and scripts, but it is a good example of what even a new resident can do during their first week. Continue on for images and video!…CLICK HERE for the video, WindowsMedia WMV – 7 minutes 26MB.
If you are already living in Second Life please drop Noire Mirabeau a line and ask for a tour of her new home!

I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed this. I’ll have to stop by and say hello at some point. My SL username is Brian Franklin. :)
WOW! What a cool video!! Great job in showing from various angles and also a great job in clearly explaining what you’re doing without it sounding dry. You’ve done an incredible job on your land and have really learned the tools well.
I would love to learn the tools better myself so that I can build more on my land rather than copying or buying and installing items.
Peace to you for the New Year and keep contributing the cool videos and how-to’s.
See you in SL,
MacLifer Resistance
Since I am familiar with Bryce and other 3d graphics programs, it wasnn’t all that hard for me to create primitives etc. What I would like to learn is how to create complex objects like vehicles.
