Swap Games, Maintain Assal Horizontology with Xbox/CD Changer Hack

Wonderfully ambitious, creative project from Ben Heck. Basically, he’s hacked the electronics of an Xbox 360 DVD drive together with the mechanics from an old stereo component CD carousel, and then patched together an interface between the two using an Arduino Uno. In effect, the XBox’s “open/close CD tray” function is replaced with a “cycle game carousel” function. Nicely done, sir. [via Hack a Day]
