Swedish scale modeling contest

On D+R, Mister Jalopy points us to the winners of the 2008 IPMS scale modeling contest in Stockholm, Sweden. I’ve been to some of these miniature and models contests and the models and dioramas are incomprehensibly detailed and expertly painted. Having spent years studying this artform (I used to run a sci-fi tabletop wargame modeling site), I am in awe of the skills exhibited here.

Poking around the IPMS site, I stumbled on this excellent piece on diorama composition.
