Part card trick, part slinky, the Flexible Love chair seems like it could be more than a novelty. The end pieces look shopbottable, but the bellows seems like it would take a lot of patience to cut, fold and glue.

It’s an intriguing idea, but I’d be a bit more impressed if he actually sat in it. Their website does have photos of people sitting on it. But how carefully posed are they, and is the chair still flexible and undamaged afterwards. I want furniture that my guests and I can sit on without being careful.

Looks like prolonged sitting in thin trousers would result in a bad case of waffle-butt.
My sister in law’s father is the creator of Foamature. Similar concept of custom furniture, but very light and very durable.

I bought my flexible honeycomb paper chair from http://www.papersofa.com … It is not flexible love but it looks and works same. Just different look. I love it. So fun to play and so useful in home when friends and family come to visit. It is really strong paper sofa. And of course green paper furniture because it is 100% bio-degradable.
