Pool noodle chair

Here’s a chair made out of furniture-grade birch plywood, pine dowels, cast aluminum, and pool noodles for the cushions.

Good job reusing parts to make a chair. Chairs aren’t as easy as other types of furniture due to the forces they experience – and making a comfortable chair isn’t easy at all.

That said the stretcher will be in the way a lot – the sitter will either hit their heels on it, or could possibly trip if they put a foot behind it and forget when they stand up.

This is why you wont see commerically made or traditional furniture made with this type of design.
