A few short weeks ago I posted about the beautiful wild flowers coming up all over the forest near my house.
One mystery flower intrigued me and some of the Craftzine readers, so I’ve been watching it closely and trying to take pictures as it grew and the buds opened. Sometimes i didn’t remember to take a photo until late afternoon, so some of the photos are dark, but the flowers are delicate and enchanting in any light.
But what the heck is it? I’m going with False Solomon’s Seal at this point, but this plant is way bigger than others I’ve seen around the forest with similar blossoms.

Definitely false solomon’s seal–it grew 4-5 feet high in my mom’s yard growing up. It must be happy there!
Thanks, Lenore! We measured this one very unscientifically by having my son Arlo stand next to it. Arlo is 4’2″, so this plant is just shy of 4-feet-tall. Amazing!
Thank you amazing blog, do you have twitter, facebook or something similar where i can follow your blog
