Gen Con Gets Crafty

Gen Con is the biggest gaming convention in the country, held in Indianapolis every year, mostly focusing on tabletop role-playing games, board games, and card games. I was impressed to hear that there’s a whole team of people in charge of so called “Spousal Activities,” or non-game related programs and classes for the whole family to enjoy. On the roster are such impressive activities like chainmaille making, lampworking, Byzantine jewelry making, spinning, origami, costume making, and much much more (including several types of dancing)! You can check out most of the activities on this fanpage, and sign up for badges and tickets at the main gencon registration site.
