Make Magazine (www.makezine.com) has a special Halloween issue with 40 do-it-yourself projects on tap, including laser jack-o-lanterns and Marie Antoinette costumes — post-guillotine, natch. And what split ranch is complete without a T. rex topper?

Martha Stewart Holiday Halloween magazine, now on newsstands, is cropping up on eBay as well. Look for the dueling covers — Martha as a “glampire” on one side, and an ethereal angel type on the other. We love the mouse cutouts and the devilishly simple spider sacs.
