Congratulations to the Mid-Atlantic Mini Maker Faire team for a successful Faire! There were lots of awesome things going on, such as air-powered rockets, a soft circuit fashion show, robotics, circuit bending, electronic art and more. Here are some photos that I took of the festivities.
Did you attend? Be sure to share your photos and memories in the comments!

Harford Hackerspace, www,harfordhackerspace.org, and I had a great time at the event. I have hosted pictures of all the kids who stopped by our tables to build cardboard robots and have them on my site, http://www.roboxen.com, if anyone cares to peruse.
That’s me up there in the green shirt showing our Cornstarch Monster to some of the youngsters. From what I understand, it was a pretty big hit with the kids and adults alike. Lots of people took pics or recorded it with their cellphones. It is kinda weird knowing that there are probably hundreds of pictures of me with my Johnny 5 shirt on floating around the Intertubes. You can see the Cornstarch Monster in action at: http://www.youtube.com/harfordhackerspace
What an amazing event! My daughter had a fantastic time, thanks so much for all those who made this show possible. The rocket launching and Vibra-Bot were a huge hot, put some info about the bot for others over at my blog http://blog.geekcowboy.net
I had a lot of fun, thanks for putting on the faire!
