Parallax Holiday LED contest

Our finely wired friends at Parallax have teamed up with EETimes and Innovative Generation to create a holiday contest centered on LEDs. The purpose of the contest is to “inspire middle-school and high-school students to work with microcontrollers and electronic components to create their own LED holiday projects. The contest is open to students aged 24 and under.”

The theme couldn’t be simpler: Use LEDs to create any sort of holiday display. ANY holiday, even, not just Christmas/Hanukkah/Yule, etc. The contest sports $4,500 in prize money ($1,500 for first place!).

More details on the contest page at Parallax.
