The JCM is having a free “STITCH-IN” on Sunday, October 28, from 1-4pm:

Join us for an amazing afternoon featuring an all-star cast of women in the arts organized by JCM and Michelle Loughlin in connection with the exhibition The Feminine Mystique. Sabrina Gschwandtner, from KnitKnit, will discuss the historical relevance of knitting during war time. Videos by Womenswork collective will be screened in the theater and in the museum’s atrium. Join artists Sheila Pepe, Christie Sayre, Pam Cooper, Juana Valdes, Carson Fox, Heather Hart, Donna Lish, Carol Westfall and a host of others for this Stitch-In. Bring your own stitching project, or try something new with us. Wine and light refreshments will be served.
