1/8 Scale 1936 John Deere tractor

So you think you are a great model maker? Maybe so, but have you seen this working 1/8 scale John Deere tractor? The attention to detail is amazing, and the final model is one of the best I have ever seen. Be sure to check out the video of the tractor running, because it sounds awesome.

    It’s not green!

I totally agree, it should be green…but I do like the raw metal. Painting it might make it look cheap?

If you slow the movie down, it sounds just like a real model D. Amazing. It should be green, but a coat of paint would clog all the incredibly high-tolerance mechanisms such as the working throttle levers etc.

Of course it’s green, this photo is just from before the paintwork was done. Click through.

What he needs to do next is make an perfect 8x scale quarter to lean against the full sized tractor wheel during shows :)
