Hi folks, all the MAKE, CRAFT & Maker Faire teams are exhausted and traveling, here’s Bill Murray mid-yoga session @ Maker Faire. Thanks, Bill!

My friend George Smith and I built a fence for Bill in the late 1980’s in New York and we were delighted to find him to be both helpful and knowledgeable on site. He helped carry our tools and materials, moved well, was generally humble and down to earth. He even made us amazing lemonaid. I’m not surprised at his interest in the Maker Faire!
Now I am REALLY bummed we couldn’t make it down to Austin. Bill Murray is the greatest. It would have been fun just to see him. It was a blast to see Woz hanging around at the first one.
A buddy and I try and work in at least one meaningful Bill Murray movie quote a day. That is this weeks winner.
She is not finding inner peace with yoga! She is quoting Bill in “Scrooged” where he quotes the Kama Sutra!
I was at my booth and saw him walk by, I was thinking it was him. I am not normally one to see people and say “they look like so and so…”
Glad to see ya out there.
I love B.M. not only for Lost in Translation (who didn’t?) but for the Razor’s Edge. If you haven’t seen it, man you are short changing yourself. Not to take anything away from Lost in Translation, but I didn’t really appreciate Razor’s Edge until years later after I started following the Tibetan Buddhist path.
Next inevitable question: Did anyone say to him “Back off man I’m a scientist!”
