There’s a lot of design work involved when you are making things for your wedding which is where the blog iDiY steps in to help scour the web’s wedding best in terms of favor ideas, cards, templates, and more. [ via How About Orange ]
The site’s creator, Luzel wanted a online resource for all the great wedding links she found for her own wedding planning so she decided to launch iDiY as in “I Do”-it-yourself Get it? Pretty cute. Now along with 2 other bloggers Mandy and Sharon, the trio bring their top notch wedding picks to help you save money and craft your own wedding. There’s a entire freebies and downloads section that has pages of some of the best free wedding templates, fonts, and clip art I’ve ever seen.
Also featured on the site are real DIY Wedding stories like the wood theme of Lauren and Andrew’s wedding. I like the sawed branch place cards where names are printed on clear label sheets, cut into circles, and then placed on the wood pieces.
Another project that caught my eye are these nifty paper flower centerpieces made from security envelopes. You gotta love a project where you can upcycle junk mail for a wedding!
